126 days ago When I spoke to you on the Friday before New Years, I was hesitant to send out a plumber as all the suppliers had closed at noon and if we needed special parts we would not be able to help you at that time. As we would not be open for regular business again until the following Tuesday, I felt bad for you to go without any hot water for that length of time. I decided to send out a plumber to see if we could get you a temporary solution. As it turned out we were able to take care of the issue on the spot! We feel that the level of service you received from us will make you a long time customer when you need a plumber !

126 days ago I personally spoke with your father when he called to book a service call.I explained to him that we had a standard service call out fee to come out and that the plumber would look at the extent of work to be done and would then offer him " up front pricing " before completing any work. He was made aware that should he decide the cost was out of his price range, we would simply collect the dispatch fee and be on our way. It would be very hard to give an accurate quote before seeing the job as one can not predict what is involved in removing old faucets, especially bathroom faucets that may have attached pop ups.

195 days ago We work hard to keep all our customers happy. Normally when we are called is because there is a plumbing issue that has come up or the furnace quit working at -40 degrees ! Our technicians are all fully trained journeyman plumbers and gas fitters to handle any situation.

202 days ago We make every effort to give our customers the best service available. We arrive on time, we will quote you an up front price before we do any work. As for the service call fee, that is standard will almost all service industries, I recently had problems with my riding lawnmower that required the technician to come back on 3 separate occasions before the mower was finally running over about a 2 week period. Every visit I was charged a $89.95 service call fee plus a minimum charge of 1.5 hrs, even though the person was only trouble shooting. In the end I paid over $1300 to get my mower finally running.I wish that I would of had the value of up front pricing, as I may have reconsidered. Our prices are always up front , so there is never any guesswork.

230 days ago When comparing prices on work it is important to ensure that the quality of materials used is comparable.We also plumbed in a saddle valve in case you need to shut off the water supply to the fridge. We also gave you a warranty with the workmanship.Our pricing is all done on an up front basis, so when the plumber quoted you the price you certainly were more than welcome to decline our services.Good service is not expensive but rather it is priceless. We employ the finest in top quality journeymen plumbers that arrive on time and do the job right the first time.To give you an example, when you go out for a chicken dinner you can eat for less at KFC.If you go to The Keg for a chicken dinner the price may be 3 times the price, but it is the service and the quality of the atmosphere that make the difference, hence the price becomes a mute point. I hope you can appreciate the reasons why prices are what they are.

230 days ago Thank you for your glowing response on our service but I am a bit confused as to the pricey part ??? Your original quote was to replace the furnace, remove both of your 40 gallon hot water tanks and install a wall hung hot water on demand unit. When you decided to only replace the furnace I sent Peter back out to take a second look at the work involved. The additional $500
was to relocate 1 of the hot water tanks to accommodate the furnace installation as there was not enough room. This work involves undoing the rerouting the gas lines moving the venting and moving the copper lines to the new position. So there is a lot of work involved. As it turned out the technicians had to move both of your hot water tanks and replace some of the copper lines as they were too weak, re solder up the water lines. Even though there was at least 2 hours of additional work we did not charge you anymore than you were quoted. In regards to taking the 2nd technician off the job- we normally only have 2 guys there to help take out the old furnace and run a chimney liner if necessary. The balance of the work is usually completed by 1 installer. We hope that you are in the end happy with your new Maytag furnace. We look forward to servicing any further plumbing or heating concerns you may encounter in the future.

I regret that you were not happy with the experience of our service. We offered you same day service as per your request and gave you up front pricing before any work was completed. Don is a journeyman plumber with over 20 years of service experience, so his capability to do a job may look like an easy task to a bystander regarding the job at hand. If Don had taken 4 hours to do the job the price would still be what was quoted to you.
We make every effort to ensure that the customer receives our highest level of service. In your case you received both prompt service and you authorized the work to be done before anything was started. Had you felt the price quoted to be too expensive, we would of collected the dispatch fee and been on our way.
I also note that you have a 2 year warranty on the repair, in the event that the repair fails for any reason we would come back for FREE , to re fix the problem.
For you to claim the we are untrustworthy is defiantly an unfair statement as you have not shown me where anything we did would warrant your accusation after the work was completed in a prompt and efficient manner.
I trust you can appreciate our position in this regard.

302 days ago As I recall you originally just wanted the gas line moved in order to have some stucco work done. We quoted you $461.00 for the service call and the work. We then returned after the stucco was completed to do more work,
which involved pulling a permit with the City.You were unhappy with the price so we dropped over $500 as the permit was already pulled. For that we had to pressure test the line and return once the City did their inspection.For this same money we connected a new gas line, disconnected and capped 2 other gas lines as well as hooked up the BBQ. After the fact you called and were still not happy with the price after agreeing to it prior to having the work done. As customer service is very important to us, we came back and installed a shut off and flex line to your patio heater as well as soap tested the line and got the unit operational. This we did for FREE.We have done everything we can to please you.
